Helen Battisti, MS, RD - A Registered Dietician as well as a mom, Helen has a special interest in the issues surrounding childhood obesity. As someone who struggled with weight issues herself as a child, Helen found herself uniquely empathetic when her youngest son also began to struggle with his body image. Now, mother and son both feel strongly about educating families and communities on issues of nutrition and obesity prevention. Helen Battisti offers private nutritional consulting services to individuals and families at her practice, Battisti Network, in Binghamton, NY. She is currently persuing her Ph.D at Marywood University, where her area of research is Childhood Obesity.
Marty Davey, BGS, CR - Marty is a mom as well as Master Candidate in Nutrition at Marywood University. Her background is in film and television in addition to bodywork and massage therapies. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and Actors Equity Association unions and the American Reflexology Certification Board and the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. She teaches Vegetarian Healthy Cooking at the Northeast Pennsylvania Women's Health Alliance at Marywood University.
