Moravian Student Mathematics Conference

This year the conference was held on Sat. Feb.17, 2007. Four math majors and two faculty members (Dr. J and Dr. Zhang) attended this conference. An excellent presentation on the subject of Searching for k-Smooth Integers was given by junior Colin Conrad. These results have significance in factoring very large numbers and therefore are instrumental in cryptology, the science of code encryption and decryption.
