How Does Test

Anxiety Affect You?

Anxiety affects your mind, body and behavior. Reactions that affect your mind include feelings of fear, discomfort, upset and self-doubt. Reactions that affect your body may include rapid heartbeat, muscle tension, nausea, dry mouth, or sweating. Reactions that affect your behavior include being unable to act, make decisions, to express yourself, or to deal with everyday situations. This causes you to have difficulty reading and understanding questions, organizing thoughts, or remembering key words or concepts. You might also experience mental blocking, which means going blank on questions.
