Religious cults incorporate some form of religious dogma for the members to believe in. The leader benefits through gaining prestige and power over the members. Members will receive eternal salvation through belief in the dogma and membership.

Commercial cults make members sell and distribute a product, while being subjected to beliefs of the company. The leader benefits through monetary gains and power. Members believe that happiness will be attained through financial independence.

The main focus of these cults is some promise of self-fulfillment. Leaders benefit through power, prestige and monetary gains through the members. Members believe that their life is incomplete without this spritual and emotional reawakening.

The premise of the occult is to go against any Christain dogma. Rituals of worship of a satanic deity is involved. The leader gains power over the members through demoralizing the basic beliefs of human nature.
