additional 3 credits are taken in a higher level science course.
The courses required in Nutrition and Dietetics are:
A student needs to achieve a C+ grade in both didactic and supervised practice professional courses in order to remain in the program. Failure to achieve a C+ will necessitate the student repeating the course. However, a student will be able to repeat a course with a supervised practice component only when space is available at the time of the repeat, as determined by the CP director and faculty. If the student does not choose or is unable to repeat the course, it will be necessary for the student to withdraw from the program and seek another area of concentration.
A 3.0 minimum overall grade point average (GPA) is required to remain in the program. A student whose overall GPA drops below this minimum, he / she will receive a written warning and be placed on probation for one semester. If the student is unable to raise his / her GPA to the minimum required the student will be dismissed from the program. Verification to CDR that the student completed the program is dependent upon the student meeting all of the criteria. An overall grade point average of 3.0 is required to receive a verification statement.
