The Writing Center (LAC-Rm.221/222) is a drop-in service that provides one-to-one teaching of writing as student and tutor confer about a paper. The goal of the Writing Center is to produce a better writer, while producing a better paper. You may come to the Writing Center at any point in your writing process. You don't have to be finished--or even started--to come for a conference. Bring your ideas, notes, rough draft, or final draft. The spring semester hours are: Monday-Thursday: Appointments may be made (570-340-6045), but are not required. All conferences are free! Also, please call for times of APA and MLA workshops.________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________ If you are unable to come to the Writing Center, help is available on the World Wide Web.
